In this episode, we examine Christ’s message to Sardis—a church with a name that it lives, yet is dead.
Following the Reformation, light had come through justification by faith. But instead of continuing in that light, men organized it—forming sects and systems that lacked spiritual life. Sardis represents a cloudy day—truth present, but not fully embraced.
We explore the Wesleyan call to sanctification and holiness, the danger of having truth without life, and Christ’s warning to strengthen what remains before it dies.
Even here, there is a remnant—souls who have not defiled their garments, still walking in purity, crying out for fullness.
And as Sardis comes to a close… something begins to shake.
